Background
The Modern Government Maternity Hospital (MGMH) in Petlaburj, Hyderabad serves thousands of expectant mothers, newborns, and families every month. As one of the city's busiest public maternity hospitals, maintaining hygienic patient facilities is essential for quality healthcare.
The Need
During a joint assessment with hospital authorities, several patient washrooms were found to be in severely deteriorated condition. Broken fixtures, damaged flooring, leaking plumbing, stagnant water and poor sanitation had made many facilities difficult to use, compromising hygiene, comfort and dignity for patients and healthcare staff alike.
Scope of Work
Ground floor public waiting areas, antenatal OP, labour waiting areas, and radiology support rooms.
Major Works Executed
Drainage reconstruction, waterproofing, SWR pipelines, new flooring, sanitary fixtures, plumbing repairs and civil restoration.
